Lake Almanor
(Jan.- June) - Covering 52 sq. miles Lake Almanor is regarded as
one of California’s best trophy trout and salmon fisheries. It
is host to populations of Browns, Rainbows, as well as Land
Locked King Salmon. Lake Almanor is located 66 miles from
Chico100 miles from Reno and 147 miles from Sacramento. Winter
and Spring are hot times to be on the water.
Bucks
Lake
(June - Sept.)
- Offers a wide variety of angling possibilities; with Brookies, Browns,
Rainbows, Kokanee, and the ever sought after Lake Trout or Macinaw. The
best time for the Macks is right after the lake opens till the
first of July. Bucks Lake is located
50 miles from Oroville, 97 miles from Reno, and 115 miles from Sacramento.
The Lakers get hungry just after ice out, and summer Kokanee action can't
be beat.
Lake
Davis
(May- June) - Rainbows are the order of the day, with an
occasional Brown thrown in. Davis with its abundant food supply
produces fish that grow thick and fight hard.
In addition to trout, in May of 2007 BDGS
will be offering dedicated Northern Pike trips.

information. Lake Davis is
located 54 miles from Reno, 185 miles from Sacramento, and 265
miles from San Francisco. Spring time produces fishing
conditions that can only be called insane.
Eagle Lake (Sept.- Dec.) - At 22,000 surface acres it is the second largest natural body of water in California. It is home of the hard fighting Eagle Lake
Trout. If you want to test your light tackle abilities Eagle lake is for you.
In addition to our
regular light tackle fishing program we also provide on the
water transportation for both wading and float tube fly
fishermen. This provides the fastest and sometimes the only way
to reach remote fishing areas.

details or to set up your fly fishing excursion. Eagle lake is located 96 miles from Reno, 216 miles from Sacramento, and 300
miles from San Francisco. You don’t want to miss this one in late fall.
